Draped bust resembling Yazdgird III to right, wearing an elaborate mural crown; behind head, ‘GDE ʾp̄zw[t]’ (‘[may his] glory increase’ in Pahlavi); before head, ‘yzdklt’ (‘Yazdgird’ in Pahlavi); in the outer margin, ‘jayyid’ (‘good’ in Arabic). Rev. Fire altar with ribbons, flanked by two attendants; above altar, star and crescent; to left, date in Pahlavi; to right, BN (abbreviation for the name of the mint in Pahlavi). Album 2. Very rare. A few minor deposits, otherwise, about extremely fine.
